Software Engineer – (Android)

SECURE.COM is in search of a Software Engineer (Android) who thrives in a fast-paced and challenging environment, while working on complex problems with a talented team—conceptualizing, developing and implementing applications and features from scratch using the latest technologies.

  • Build highly-available, highly-performant, redundant, scalable distributed systems
  • Write code that is performant, maintainable, clear, and concise
  • Collaborate and work with Product owners, developers, marketing team, operation team and system engineers (Sys-Admins) within SCRUM framework.
  • Design, develop, test (with QA department), maintain, enhance and optimize Mobile applications. Self-reliant programming and assistance in the design and implementation of complex, dynamic internal projects. Performance and Quality is very critical.
  • Contribute a major part in defining the trajectory of our product. Reading competitors, comparing technologies and suggesting enrichment.
  • Work with challenging deadlines.
  • Help with standardization of toolsets we use for our development.
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in Android Development
  • Extensive knowledge of Android SDK (and NDK) development experience, including best practices, APIs, libraries, including popular 3rd party APIs
  • Strong experience with scalable, secure Android Content Providers
  • Experience with complex UIs and Fragments
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
  • Application profiling and monitoring through tools like NewRelic
  • Analytic planning and implementation
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail ( very important )
  • Passion for building Apps for masses with brilliant UI and UX
